Larger pieces (for example, tables) cannot be shipped. All other items will be shipped by UPS Ground. If you would prefer, you may visit my shop to pick up your order. If you do so, I will refund shipping charges that you may have incurred when ordering on-line.
Most of the pieces you see here can be replicated to suit your preferences for size, materials, customized box or drawer interiors, etc. Some, as noted in the item’s description, are made to order.
This jewelry box, inspired by a 19th century Biedermeier jewelry chest, measures 14” wide x 9” deep x 10” tall. The outside of the birdseye maple case is veneered in redwood burl. The moldings are rosewood and the columns and brick banding are bocote. The bottom of the interior and the two interior trays are velvet-lined. The finish is shellac and wax.
