This walnut box with a wooden hinge has, as its most distinctive feature, an inlay in the top that was made by doing circular acrylic drawings on basswood (a light colored wood). The drawings were cut into strips and random lengths, then reassembled to make the lid insert. The box measures 10-1/2” x 8-1/2” x 4” tall. The wooden hinge virtually disappears when the box is closed. Regardless of the use to which you put this box, it will be a novel addition to your home or workplace.
